When imagining a corner, one usually thinks of 3 lines, a strictly, geometrically defined space, defined by it's borders. Defined by it's negative space - the walls, the borders, the separation.

The field on the other hand is the open space that emerges, from the borders. With focus on the openness a field spreads out, a corner becomes an amplifier, to focus on, to then perceive, a surrounding. Acoustically a corner can be use the load the entire space.

To build the surrounding from the corner, to surround, to invite to go into the open, through the open to go beyond the corner - to transcend the corner.
