EXTRA STORAGE by Juan Betancurth and Daniel Neumann
The place where art exists predominantly, probably, is in storage. In this livestream for Velakradar the artists play back past installation recordings through one of their sculptural speaker objects inside of their storage unit in New York City. A temporary activation of past art takes place in a space usually reserved for the opposite. During the 8 1/2 hour long livestream Betancurth and Neumann intersperse the transmission from the storage with comments and conversation.
