HOOK #1 was developed as part of ONE CYCLE AHEAD (2015) and became the poster image for the show::
This particular work, HOOK, which is part of a larger ensemble of objects, behaves somewhat strangely in that its number of instances will always equal the number of times it is being shown, s. below::
HOOK #2
A relic of what used to be a conversation, as part of Primitivo
Humankind accidentally wiped itselves off the planet by focusing too much on technological development and ignoring the physiological as well as environmental consequences. Consciousness and compassion faded and finally ceased to exist. Yet, many relics survived, mostly the more primitive ones. In the installation HOOK #2 we come across one of those relics. This particular work, which is part of a larger ensemble of objects, behaves somewhat strangely in that its number of instances will always equal the number of its occurrence. This is only the second time, it becoming what once was a conversation.
HOOK #3
Under construction.
HOOK #4
The 4 hanging speaker objects are amplifying the sound from 4 different shelves of the CABINET inside the installation DISAMBIGUATIONS. The installation was developed for Zona Maco and presented by Fridman Gallery in the Nuevas Propuestas (New Proposals) section during the art fair, February 5 - 9 2020.
